Our return policy is 30 days. If 30 days have passed since the date of purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange. If you wish to return an item to the Travelling TeaRoom Boutique for a refund, the product must be returned in original condition you received it, in the original packaging, and with receipt or proof of purchase within 10 days after receiving the item. You can expect a refund within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. Refunds will not include any shipping charges paid by the Travelling TeaRoom Boutique. Refunds will be credited to the same form of payment used in your original purchase. Please note orders placed on line cannot be cancelled or changed any time before we have shipped it to you. After shipment, returns and refunds are governed by our guarantee policy.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. The following items are exempt from being returned – Tea and Tea Collections, clothing, loungewear, scarves, hats, fascinators, belts, bra straps, purses or bags. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable or refundable items:
- Gift cards
- Autographed copies or obvious signs of use books
- Note Card Stationary that has been opened or used
- Any and all Pierced earrings and pierced earring necklace sets and all other Jewellery of a pierced nature
- Obvious signs of use of any Bone China products such as Tea Pots, Cup & Saucers, Tea Mugs and Tea for One sets, and other tea related items, etc.
- Tea equipage such as tea Infuser baskets, balls, etc.
- Some health and personal care items
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items ordered in error by the customer
- Items damaged or broken due to misuse by the customer
- Items tarnished by water, hairspray, perfumes, etc.
- All items that have been worn
We inspect all of our products prior to shipping. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged whilst in transit. If one of our products is found to be defective within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase, upon its return to the company, accompanied by the original bill of sale, we will replace it. If we are unable to replace the item, we will exchange it for a piece of your choice of comparable value. Returns and Refunds
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Please use the following instructions for returns:
- The product must be returned within ten (10) days after receiving the item to be eligible for a refund
- The product must be returned in the original condition you received it
- If possible, use the original packaging to pack the item securely, or include the original packaging.
- Enclose the original or a copy of the receipt.
- All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We will not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
- For your protection, we recommend using a shipping method that provides tracking services and/or insurance. Keep the tracking number from the package you are returning to ensure that it is returned to our distribution centre. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
There are no refunds or exchanges on Sale Items. Only regular priced items may be refunded or exchanged.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you (the gift recipient), the return is governed by our return and refund policy and those rules apply. You (the recipient) will receive a gift credit for the value of the return. Once the returned item is received by us, inspected and approved, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be informed about the return. Any and all returns are governed by our return and refund policy and those rules apply.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Shipping is free for Canadian customer orders over $150.00, (pre-tax) otherwise a flat rate shipping charge of $18.00 will be added. Shipping is free for international orders over $200.00, (pre-tax) otherwise a flat rate shipping charge of $25.00 will be added. Normal processing time for customer orders is 1-2 business days until it is shipped. If we cannot fill your order within 2 business days, we will contact you. Your credit card will be charged when your order is placed.
